DCTC Students Awarded Scholarships
At the 2006 Green Expo Awards Banquet, held January 5 at the Minneapolis Convention Center, two DCTC students were awarded scholarships. The goal of the MNLA Academic Awards program is to honor the academic achievements of students who have chosen the nursery and landscape industry as their career choice . These scholarships are cosponsored by the MNLA Foundation and a Minnesota company.
A scholarship for Nancy Thorman Dahl was sponsored by Bachman’s, Inc. Pictured with Nancy in the photograph is Dale Bachman, President of Bachman’s, Inc. A scholarship for Chris Morrissette was cosponsored by the Hoffman and McNamara Foundation. Pictured with Chris in the photo is Dennis McNamara.
