Pirlet and Peters Receive MNLA Scholarships
Two students in the Landscape Horticulture program at DCTC received scholarships sponsored by the Minnesota Nursery and Landscape Association at their annual Green Expo in early January, 2007. Darren Peters (photo below) received a scholarship cosponsored by the Hoffman and McNamara Foundation, a foundation set up by the owners of a landscape firm in Hastings, Minnesota.
Ross Pirlet (photo below) received a scholarship cosponsored by the Bachman’s, Inc. wholesale facility in Farmington, Minnesota.
We congratulate Ross and Darren on their award, and thank the MNLA, Bachman’s, and the Hoffman and McNamara Foundation for their generosity.
Ross Pirlet, graduating this spring, was featured in the business section of the April 13, 2007 issue of the Rosemount Town Pages. The training Ross received in landscaping and business management should serve him well in his new venture, and we wish him success.
