DCTC Instructor Wins Training Grant
The Minnesota Nursery and Landscape Association recently announced a $2,500 grant to instructor Jeff Kleinboehl for additional training and certification in landscape irrigation. The Irrigation Committee at the MNLA has chosen to help expand the irrigation portion of the Landscape Horticulture program at DCTC to better serve the landscape irrigation industry in Minnesota.
Jeff teaches the current irrigation offerings at DCTC. Using the grant, Jeff attended an advanced irrigation training program last summer, offered by the national Irrigation Association in San Diego, California. He will be taking their national certification examination summer of 2007.
