Landscape Horticulture Program awarded grant and graduates win awards
At the 2006 Green Expo Awards Banquet, held January 5 at the Minneapolis Convention Center, the Landscape Horticulture program at DCTC was awarded a $3000 grant from the MNLA Foundation. This grant serves to partially fund new computer controls for the program’s greenhouse. We thank the MNLA Foundation Board of Trustee’s for their support.
At the same banquet, two graduates of DCTC won Certificates of Merit in the MNLA’s annual design competition. The winners were Wendy Loomis, of Buell’s Landscape Center in Hastings, Minnesota; and Karen Filloon, of Outdoor Environments. Congratulations, Wendy and Karen!
