Instructors attend national professional meetings

Horticulture instructors like to be active in local and national organizations and stay current with current trends. This month (October) our design instructor, Matt Brooks, attends the American Society of Landscape Architect national meeting in San Francisco.
While there, he will be touring the campus of Ohlone College which, like DCTC, has signed an agreement to “go green”. Our landscape construction teacher, Jeff Kleinboehl, will be attending PLANET’s Green Industry Conference, the main national meeting in Louisville, Kentucky, in late October. There he will attend educational sessions and committee meetings.
