Summer 2008 odds and ends

A photograph of our 2006 Secret Gardens installation at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum appeared in the new book Northern Treasure: The Minnesota Landscape Arboretum and Horticulture Research Center, authored by Susan Davis Price and published by Afton Historical Society Press in 2008. The photo of the stone throne part of the installation appears on page 55. Unfortunately, we get no credit in the caption. For more information on the installation see the 2006 news item.
One of our more illustrious grads, Karen Filloon, once again appeared as a guest on Minnesota Public Radio's Midmorning Show. The episode was a call-in show on gardening called "Summer Flora". The show was broadcast on July 18, 2008 on KNOW (91.1). She was accompanied by Bob Harvey of Edelweiss Design. Karen is a landscape designer for Southview Design.
