Nursery and Landscape sales have topped $2.1 billion a year and the industry needs an additional 2,200 full-time and 3,200 part-time employees.
At DCTC, you can learn what it takes to become successful in the Landscape and Horticulture industry.
On Feb. 6, the DCTC student horticulture club invited Dr. Mark Seely to give a presentation on global climate change, from a historical data stand point.
The presentation was open to DCTC students, faculty and staff and was well attended.
Dr. Seely is a author, climatologist and meteorologist. He is a recently retired U of M professor in the Dept. of Soil, Water, and Climate.
Dr . Seely can often be heard on Mn. Public Radio. In 2006 he authored “Minnesota Weather Almanac” published by the Mn. Historical Society.
